Talking about the outfits, from pretty lehengas and shining bodysuits to those leather jackets, Bollywood sometimes just goes over the top. Some outfits are expensive enough to feed an entire city. Some of these costumes became iconic, some made us question, is it really worth the money?

It literally made my heart skip a beat seeing an open fire next to an outfit costing a whopping ₹30 lakhs.

Shah Rukh Khan’s bodysuit in Ra.One (₹4.5 crore each)

Undoubtedly, Shah Rukh Khan is an awesome man. But I can’t accept the fact that a single bodysuit can cost 4.5 crores. And there were 10 of them he wore in the movie. Now you can work with the calculations.

Sonakshi Sinha’s bodysuit lehenga in Tevar (₹75 lakhs)

No one has ever figured out as it was a bodysuit or a lehenga? Well, whatever it was, it costs a whopping ₹75 lakhs. Sonakshi wore this weird outfit in the song Radha Nachegi, which no one has seen. Really. It took a whopping amount of ₹2.5 Crores to shoot the song.

Kangana Ranaut’s leather-latex bodysuit in Krrish 3 (₹1 crore)

The bodysuits worn by Kangana in the movie costs ₹1 crore each. She wore 10 of them, which means a total of ₹10 crore had been spent. I’m still in shock.

Akshay Kumar’s pure gold turban in Singh is Bliing (₹65 Lakhs)

A pure gold turban worn by Akshay Kumar only in the poster (yeah, you read it right, only poster) costs ₹65 lakhs.

Deepika Padukone’s outfit in Bajirao Mastani (₹45 lakhs)

Remember the song Deewani Mastani? Deepika was looking stunning as ever in that outfit with all that matching jewellery. Well, that outfit was for about ₹45 lakhs. only. *wink*

Madhuri Dixit’s lehenga in Devdas (₹15 lakhs)

Madhuri Dixit’s lehenga in the iconic song Kaahe Chhed Mohe cost ₹15 lakhs. This particular outfit set the record (and trend) for uber expensive and over the top outfits in Bollywood. 

Salman Khan’s outfit in Veer (₹20 lakhs)

The armour worn by Salman Khan in the movie cost about ₹20 lakhs each, and there were 6 of them, totalling up to ₹1.2 crores. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s LBD in Kambakht Ishq (₹8 Lakhs)

The not so special little black dress worn by Kareena cost ₹8 lakhs. That bow on the dress made it look like a gift wrap. And the interesting part is that producer Sajid Nadiadwala got this dress especially from Paris for Kareena and later gifted it to her. 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Hrithik Roshan’s outfits in Jodha Akbar (₹2 Lakhs per outfit)

I’m not sure about the total outfits worn by them (I just lost the count), but each outfit cost about ₹2 lakhs each. *still standing in shock*

Vivek Oberoi’s jacket in Prince (₹30,000 each)

I know you must be thinking if there’s a movie Prince in Bollywood. But yeah, it is. And the leather jackets worn by Vivek in the movie cost around ₹30,000 each and he got six of them made.
