Celebs too are doing whatever they can to help. They are using social media to create awareness. Doing their best to make a positive impact, celebs are donating funds to those affected by the pandemic.
Here’s the list of some celebs who donated for the cause.
He made a donation of Rs. 50 lakh for the daily wage workers of the South Indian film industry.
Sindhu donated Rs. 5 lakh each towards the “Chief Ministers Relief Fund” for the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Pawan donated a total of Rs. 2 crore. He donated Rs. 50 lakh each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief Funds and Rs. 1 crore to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund respectively.
Kapil Sharma donated Rs. 50 lakh towards Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. He took to Twitter to announce the news.
Prabhas donated a total of Rs. 4 crore. He donated Rs. 50 lakhs each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief Funds and Rs. 3 crore to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund respectively.
Kylie Jenner donated $1 million. The donation will be used to buy protective gear for hospitals and healthcare organisations that are running low on masks and face shields. The news was confirmed by Kylie’s doctor Thaïs Aliabadi on her Instagram.
Her nonprofit organization, the Clara Lionel Foundation, donated $5 million to various organizations supporting coronavirus relief efforts. The amount will directly go to local food banks in countries like Haiti and Malawi and will distribute other resources required.
The singer’s makeup brand, Haus Laboratories, made a donation of 20 percent of its sales this month, to the L.A. Regional Food Bank and Food Bank for New York City and those who are running short on food and other basic necessities.

The couple donated $1 million, which will be split between Food Banks Canada and Feeding America. Blake took to her Instagram to share the news and also urged people to help in any possible way.
Arnold Schwarzenegger made a donation of $1 million to support medical and healthcare professionals. He also raised a fundraiser on his Instagram and requested his fans to step up and support the “frontline heroes.”
