6 Bollywood Movies That Were Filmed At The Homes of Popular Celebs

Often we see stunning homes in Bollywood movies, and end up dreaming of owning homes that look as beautiful, knowing fully well that these places were set up by professionals to look perfect. But, do you know some Bollywood films have actually been shot at some of our most popular celebrities’ homes. Wondering which movies? Read on to know.

1- Ki & Ka at Amitabh Bachchan’s house

In case, you didn’t know Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan had cameos in Ki & Ka. The sequence featuring them was shot at their home. We are sure that the next time you watch the movie, you will pay keen attention to the interiors of the house in the scene.

2- Sanju at Sanjay Dutt’s house

A few scenes of the biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor were shot at Sanju baba’s Imperial Heights home. Allegedly, a few neighbors filed a complaint when the shooting was disrupting their daily schedule.

3- Bajrangi Bhaijaan at Salman Khan’s farmhouse

Besides shooting the film at Sonmarg, Zoji La, a few scenes of Kabir Khan-directed Bajrangi Bhaijaan were shot at Salman Khan’s farmhouse called Arpita Farms in Panvel. 

4- Veer Zaara and Rang De Basanti at Pataudi Palace

The Pataudi Palace in Haryana which belongs to Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan was seen in the movies Veer Zaara and Rang De Basanti. The palace was used to show Preity Zinta’s house in Pakistan. The song ‘Hum to bhai jaise hain’ featuring Preity gives you an opportunity to have a closer look at the property which is also called Ibrahim Kothi.

5- Bombay Talkies at Karan Johar’s and Big B’s house

Bombay Talkies gives you a glimpse of two Bollywood celebrities’ homes. The story Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh starring Rani Mukerji and Randeep Hooda was shot at Karan Johar’s home. Without contemplating much, KJo filmed his own home as Rani-Randeep’s house in the flick. Another scene that starred Amitabh Bachchan was shot on the premises on the Bachchan’s other Mumbai residence, Prateeksha.

6- Fan at SRK’s Mannat

Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan tanked at the box office but it is still etched in our minds for his performance. SRK played a dual role in Fan, one as superstar Aryan and the other a super stalker Gaurav. The scenes where Gaurav is shown to be waiting outside Aryan’s home waiting to meet him were actually shot outside Mannat. The crowd was real too.
