The Special Task Force (STF) Friday struck industrial facilities based at Ambah in Morena area and Lahar in Bhind locale of the Gwalior-Chambal district, around 400 kms from here, Superintendent of Police Rajesh Bhadoriya told PTI.
In the task police seized around 10,000 liters of engineered milk, in excess of 500 kg of misleading ‘mawa’ or consolidated milk and about 200 kg of manufactured curds. The police additionally held onto overwhelming amount of synthetic compounds and additives.
This misleading milk and different items, for example, ‘mawa’ and curds to supposedly provided to marked outlets in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana, the SP said.
“As many as 20 tankers and 11 pick-up vans containing spurious milk and other products were seized,” the SP said. While different items were provided to different states including Delhi, manufactured milk was being provided to territories of MP, Rajasthan and UP which are nearer to Morena and Bhind areas.
“A huge quantity of liquid shampoo, detergent, refined oil, maltodextrin powder, sodium thiosulfate and other chemicals were seized during the raids,” the SP said. The official additionally included that the blamed were utilizing high amount for additives.
The SP additionally told the STF had likewise attacked twelve different areas on Saturday, yet these premises were found bolted.
