While script play a major role in the success of the movie but it’s also the chemistry of the lead couple which makes a movie work. There are many movies which were superhits just because of the chemistry between the lead pair. They create magic on the screen with their sizzling chemistry.
But there are some lead pairs in the movie which look totally incompatible. They made us question the casting directors “What were they thinking while finalizing the couple?”
So, let’s have a look at some of the lead pairs in Bollywood movies who had no chemistry between them.
1- Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone – Padmaavat
After seeing Ranveer and Deepika back to back in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies, we think the pairing between Shahid and Deepika was chagrin. Their vibes didn’t match and their chemistry was looking forced despite the fact that both made an amazing effort.
2- Daisy Shah and Salman Khan – Jai Ho
Salman and Daisy’s pairing in Jai Ho was straight out wrong. Remember the track Tere Naina Maar Hi Daalege? It’s a track track though but the lead pair looks uncomfortable and lacked that chemistry.
3- Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra – Pyaar Impossible
No body can explain why this pairing or this movie ever happened. There was no compatibility or chemistry between the lead pair.
4- Shazahn Padamsee and Ajay Devgn – Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji
Before the release of the movie there were rumours that Shazahn was not sure about doing this movie. We understood that after watching the movie. The uncomfortable age gap between the two was painful to watch.
5- Vidya Balan and Shahid Kapoor – Kismat Konnection
The Konnection between the two wasn’t visible. Well why connection there was nothing in the movie which worked well.
6- Aishwarya Rai and Rajnikanth – Robot
Though the movie was a major hit, but the chemistry between former Miss World and South’s superstar didn’t look great.
7- Sonam Kapoor and Bobby Deol – Thank You
The duo played a married couple in the movie and their chemistry miserably failed. I think Sonam did a little too much.
