A 8’2” Tall Afghani troubled To Find A Hotel Room, What Lucknow police did Next with him is Surprising

It is not unusual to see malls and roads empty when India is playing in a cricket match. In India, we breathe and worship cricket which means every match won or lost leaves a mark on countless hearts.

Cricket is less a game and more a religion for Indians, one that keeps us united. No matter what your age or faith, cricket is something all Indians have in common.

We live in a country where Sachin Tendulkar is worshipped and people cry when MS Dhoni gets out without completing his century. But cricket seems to be sacred not just for us Indians but also for this eight-feet tall Afghani fan reportedly flew down to India just to watch the one-day international cricket series between Afghanistan and West Indies in Lucknow.

But for Sher Khan, all of eight feet and two inches tall, there was one problem: Finding a hotel that would accommodate him given his height. An endless search yielded no results.

With nowhere else to turn, a disappointed Sher Khan headed to the closest police station and asked the cops for help. They then took him to Hotel Rajdhani in Naka area where he spent the night, no matter what, cricket is love!

As was expected, hundreds gathered outside his hotel to see the tall resident from Kabul, something that reportedly left him feeling uncomfortable. “As many as 200 people have come to see him. He is very disturbed,” hotel owner Ranu told ANI.

The crowd was so big that cops had to escort Sher Khan to Ekana Stadium where the international match is being played.

Ranu also added that the man will be staying for four-five more days in the city.
