Akshay Kumar Lost his Cool when a Reporter Called ‘Kamina’ to Ranveer During Trailer Launch

Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer film Sooryavanshi’s first official trailer was launched on March 2, 2020 amidst a huge media gathering in Mumbai.

During the trailer launch, while having the Q/A session with the media, a reporter with reference to the trialer asked Ranveer Singh ‘If he is the Most Kamina in the Film Industry?’.

For the unversed, the Sooryavanshi trailer witnesses Ranveer’s character being introduced with the dialogue that reads, “ye kaam toh bas ek kamina kar sakta hai”. While it was one of those punches that audiences cracked upto, a reporter went onto ask Ranveer Singh,

“Aap bhi maante hain ke apke fraternity mein sabse kaminey aap hain?”

Watch the trailer here:

To this, Akshay Kumar who was standing right besides Ranveer lost his cool and even before Ranveer could answer he slammed the reporter for asking such a question.

Lashing out on the reporter, Akshay said, “Wo fraternity ki baat hai, ye film ki baat hai. Ye bohot galat hai jo aapne kaha. Wo mai aapse kahunga ki aapne bohot galat tarike se sawaal kia hai, wo film ke andar dialogue hai na ki fraternity ka dialogue hai. Mai aapse request karunga ki aisa na puche”

While Ranveer Singh initially called it a “direct insult” and pretended to walk out of the trailer launch, we love how sportingly he let go of everything. The Simmba actor also later praised Akshay for standing by him. Reacting to Akshay, Ranveer said,

“My Akki , always comes to my rescue.”

As Ranveer came in 40 minutes late for the trailer launch Akshay took a dig at him. Ranveer got punishment for coming late and was seen holding his ears. Have a look:
