Apart from Acting in Movies, 15 Famous South Indian Celebs also Have Side Businesses

South Indian actors are quite famous all over the country. They add a huge amount to their popularity each time they appear on the screen. Many of them, along with their sharp acting skills, have sharper business minds too. They grab the limelight on the screen and also laugh their way to the bank with their intelligent business ventures. They are not just great entertainers but even better entrepreneurs.

Here’s a list of such actors and their side businesses.

1- Chiranjeevi

Chiranjeevi co-owns the Kerala Blasters Sports Pvt. Ltd along with the Nagarjuna, Sachin Tendulkar, Nimmagadda Prasad and Allu Arvind.

2- Mohan Babu

He owns an educational institute named as Sri Vidya Nikethan Educational Institutions. He is also the founder of Sree Vidya Nikethan Educational Trust, under which he operates four groups of educational institutes. An interesting fact is that these educational institutes also provide free education for the under-privileged students. 

3- Ram Charan

Ram Charan owns Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club. He also owns an aviation company named as Turbo Megha Airways Private Limited.

4- Rana Daggubati

Rana is associated with a talent management company called CAA KWAN.

5- Navdeep

He started an event management company called ‘Raw Production House’. He co-owns this production house with Rajshekar. 

6- Sharwanand

Young hero Sharwanand started a coffee house called ‘Beenz’. With a catchy tagline ‘The Urban Coffee Village’ where the place is decorated with bamboos. Beenz, which is located near Jubilee Hills Club, offers some high range of variety coffees which include Indian, Japanese and Arabian coffee flavors. Not just coffee but it also offers snack and desserts in large variety.

7- Manchu Vishnu and wife Veronica

Manchu Vishnu, with his wife Veronica, started a school called New York Academy. The school is maintained in international standards, especially by American standards. With a tagline, ‘It all begins here’ it is called as the progressive American School. Interestingly, Vishnu himself is the brand ambassador for this school.

8- Shashank

Shashank started a restaurant with an evergreen movie title Mayabazar. The restaurant is purely designed with the movie theme and it has the life-size posters of the actors from the movie.

9- Sachiin Joshi

He took over his father’s business, JMJ Group. He is also the founder of Viking Venture which is also part of JMJ group. Lastly, he owns the Telugu Warriors Team in Celebrity Cricket League.

10- Jagapathi Babu

He also started a talent management company called Click Cine Cart. This portal is exclusively for the devoted actors, directors, producers and technicians.

11- Nagarjuna

He became an entrepreneur by opening a hi-fi restaurant called N-Grill. Not just that he also owns the N-Convention Centre which is one among the leading convention centers in Hyderabad. He is also the co-owner of Kerala Blasters.

12- Napoleon

He owns a software company known as Jeevan Technologies. This company is a perfect blend of technical competencies and customer services which make Napoleon excel in the field of business as a smart entrepreneur.

13- Prashant

Prashanth jumped into business in coordination with his father Thiagarajan and they opened India’s largest jewelry mall in Chennai. The tower has been named as Prashanth Real Gold Tower which is spread across ten floors with ATMs and food courts as well.

He has his own production house named Prabhu Deva Studios. 

15- Arya

He owns a hotel in Chennai named Sea Shell.
