The actor also won his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in Andhadhun.
He shared the award with Vicky Kaushal (who won it for URI: The Surgical Strike), and both posted congratulatory messages for each other and thanked the film creators.
But recently, Ayushmann also posted a poem on his Instagram account that chronicles his filmy journey – from the time he first came to Mumbai, to ultimately, winning a National Film Award.
He talked about the same in his poem, while also thanking his parents for their support.
