Sushmita Sen and Chandrachur Singh – Aarya (Hotstar)
Sushmita Sen made a comeback with Hotstar originals Aarya, which is the Indian version of Breaking Bad. For the unversed, Sushmita was last seen in the comedy-drama No Problem in 2010 and did a low budget movie Nirbaak in 2015.
Apart from Sushmita, some great actors like Chandrachur Singh, Jayant Kriplani, and Sugandha Garg were also seen after a long time. Talking about Jayant Kripalani and Sugandha Garg, both of them were last seen in the movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in supporting roles.
The show is getting positive reviews from fans.
Gul Panag and Dilip Tahil – The Family Man (Amazon Prime Video)
The Family Man is a story of a man who has to balance his family and work both at the same time.
While Manoj Bajpayee was praised for his stellar performance, the show also made us watch and appreciate Bollywood gems like Gul Panag and Dilip Tahil again after a long time.
Abhishek Bachchan – Breathe: Into the Shadow (Amazon Prime Video)
Abhishek Bachchan has always shown that he is a capable actor whenever he got a chance. Recently, he made a comeback with the second season of Breathe, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Dia Mirza – Kaafir (Zee5)
After her sensational debut in Bollywood with ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’, Dia Mirza did a few forgettable movies and restricted herself to small roles.
She made a comeback with the web series named Kaafir in which she played the lead role.
Nimrat Kaur and Juhi Chawla – The Test Case (Alt Balaji)
Alt Balaji, which is famous for its romantic content, shocked everyone with the web-series focused on the Indian Army.
In the series, Nimrat Kaur played the lead role while Juhi Chawla also played an important character. Both the actresses were last seen in 2016 in the movies Airlift and Chalk and Duster respectively.
Vivek Oberoi – Inside Edge (Amazon Prime Video)
Once considered as the future superstar, Vivek Oberoi’s career took a downhill after his controversial fight with Salman Khan.
However, Vivek took a shift from Bollywood to OTT platform.
Rahul Bose – Bulbbul (Netflix)
Directed by Anushka Sharma, Bulbbul is a horror movie set in the 19th Century Bengal Presidency. The movie garnered a lot of positive reviews from the audience.
The movie features Rahul Bose in a double role. He did a commendable job and once again proved his impeccable acting skills.
Karishma Kapoor – MentalHood (Alt Balaji)
The famous diva of the 90s Karishma Kapoor took a break from acting after her marriage. After years, she made a comeback in Bollywood with the movie Dangerous Ishq. However, the movie failed to impress the audience.
Recently, Karishma shocked everyone with her web series Mental Hood which shows the story of a mother.
Lara Dutta – Hundred (Hotstar)
Lara Dutta is another actress who started off her career with a bang and then restricted herself to doing small roles. However, she made a comeback with the action-comedy web series Hundred. The series got positive reviews from fans.
Aftab Shivdasani – Poison 2 (Zee5)
Aftab Shivdasani started his acting career as a child actor and then went on to become a commercial actor with many hits. Later, his career went downhill due to his choice of scripts, and he was only seen in some multi-star movies.
His last release was Great Grand Masti back in 2016. Now, Aftab is making a comeback with his much-talked web series Poison 2. Hoping that the series will help him to get back in the game again.
