Coronavirus has affected thousand of lives across the globe. In India too, people are getting affected by the COVID -19 and the number is increasing day by day. Government is trying its best to fight with the situation by releasing several precautionary guidelines.
Amid this, Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor became the first celebrity to be diagnosed with the novel and highly infectious coronavirus in India on Friday. She has received widespread criticism for her insensitive and irresponsible behaviour.
She violated the government guidelines after returning from London (where her kids are studying) and partied in Lucknow making many high profile people, as well as numerous others, come under the scanner exposing them to the deadly virus.
Now, as she is under self-quarantine, she is blaming the government officials for not taking her case seriously. After receiving criticism on Twitter for allegedly escaping the thermal scanning at the airport and not maintaining social distancing, Kanika has now finally spoke in her defence.
She said that the health officials delayed the whole process of testing and even after multiple requests from her side, she and her family were advised not to worry, which has actually worsened the situation.
Well, whatever it may be, it is advised to take all the necessary precautionary steps and stay safe.
