The deadly coronavirus has brought the world to a standstill and is adversely affecting the mental health of the global population. Deepika Padukone who is quite vocal about mental health, had announced her schedule for collaborating with Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General to discuss the impact of mental health amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
Deepika will engage in a conversation with the WHO chief in an Instagram live on Thursday, 7:30 pm IST.
However, this hasn’t gone down too well with Twitteratti, who have called out Deepika for collaborating with the WHO head, who has been facing wrath from people for allegedly being ‘too trusting of China’ and ‘not holding it accountable for its early missteps’.
Netizens trolled Deepika as they think she wasn’t making the right choice by engaging in a conversation with Tedros. Have a look:
Meanwhile, WHO has also been receiving US President Donald Trump’s wrath, who not only decided to cut WHO funding, but also unleashed a tirade against the organization for acting too slowly around the alarming situation of the novel coronavirus.
