Deepika Slammed The Reporter Who Said Ranveer Singh Invested In Chhapaak

As we all know about the upcoming film Chhapaak starring Deepika is almost knocking the door ,we all are curiously waiting for the one . Director Meghna Gulzar has put all the efforts in making the film a relatable one for all the acid attack survivors.

Deepika is now seen promoting her movies during all the TV shows . Recently, she had the promotional press conference as the release date of the movie is approaching soon.

The movie has already created a lot of buzz after being announced on 24th December, 2018. It has received many praises and attention from first poster release to trailer launch. The drama flick is directed by Meghna Gulzar who also co-produced the film with Deepee in collaboration with the Fox Star Studio.

Deepika is producing her first ever film with ‘Chhapaak’ from KA Entertainment .

During her recent promotion conference , a journalist made a statement about Ranvir Singh, Deepika’s husband, as a producer of the film as he said, “gharka paisa laga hua hai”.

The actress instantly cleared out the statement on the spot to the reporter.  She clarified that the money invested for the venture is her own and not Ranveer’s. She stated, “Excuse me, ye kisne bola, ye mere khudke paise hain”.

The press conference was also attended by the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, the director and co-producer of the movie Meghna Gulzar, Actor Vikrant Massey, Music Director of the film Shankar-Ehsan-Loy and the eminent Lyricist Gulzar.

The upcoming film of the couple is ‘83’ is biographical sports drama based on the Cricket Maestro of Indian National Cricket Team Kapil Dev and his story of winning the World Cup as a captain of the team in 1983. Ranveer Singh will play the lead as Kapil Dev and Deepika will play alongside him as Romi Dev.
