Cricket is known as Gentleman’s game and Rahul Dravid has always been the perfect poster boy of this Popularly known as the Wall of India, Rahul was always known for his calm demeanor on and off the field. Over the years, he has inspired the young generation.
Recently, the ever-so-calm Rahul was seen in a totally different avatar in the latest advertisement of the credit card payments app “CRED”. CRED rolled out their first ad film of the year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) featuring Rahul Dravid and Bollywood actor Jim Sarbh.
Featuring in the advertisement, Dravid can be seen shouting at everyone from his car and even breaking the side-mirror of a car standing next to him with his bat before getting out of the car’s rooftop and shouting “Indiranagar ka gunda hun main.”

Directed by Ayappa KM, founder of Early Man Films, the advertisement is written by standup comedian Tanmay Bhat along with Puneet Chadha, Nupur Pai, Devaiah Bopanna, and Vishal Dayama.
Virat Kohli was surprised to see Dravid’s “never-seen-before” angry side. Commenting on the ad, the Indian skipper wrote, “Never seen this side of Rahul bhai.”

Understandably, this ad had everyone in splits. Brands like Zomato, Cars24, OYO, and many others also latched on to the bandwagon.
