Kerala DCP Merin Joseph IPS, and her group has split a two-year-old youngster assault case and captured the denounced from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The denounced, Sunil Kumar Bhadran, a development laborer in Saudi Arabia was needed in Kerala for the assault of a high school young lady in 2017.
Sunil who had been working in Saudi for quite a long time was blamed for assaulting the young lady, the little girl of a family companion while he was on a get-away. The young lady later ended it all at a restoration focus. When police distinguished Sunil as the denounced he had fled the nation. Despite the fact that an Interpol post notice was issued against him, the case gained little ground.
It was uniquely in June 2019 after Merin assumed responsibility as Commissioner of Kollam she unearthed the two-year-old case while looking into pending instances of wrongdoing against ladies.
Following up vigilant notice, Merin moved toward the CBI who thusly reached the Interpol.
The Interpol affirmed that Sunil was in actuality in Saudi and got him captured. Consequently, a group of Kerala Police driven by Merin left for Riyadh on Sunday and took care of him. The group came back to India on Tuesday with Sunil.
