1- Born on March 14, 1973, Rohit Shetty is the son of renowned action director and villian Madhu B. Shetty and Ratna, a junior Bollywood artist.

2- Due to his father’s sudden demise, his mother was forced to work as a junior artist in Bollywood. Rohit along with his 4 sisters and 2 brothers was raised by his mother alone.

3- At an age of 17, Rohit worked as an assistant director with Kuku Kohli in the movie Phool Aur Kaante.

4- Rohit rose to fame in 2006 after the release of Golmaal: Fun Unlimited.

5- Rohit has hosted several seasons of TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi which airs on Colors TV.
