The recent video he posted, did the work for a backfire for him. In his recent video , he is seen with his sister and when he taste the chapati made by his sister , he did not like it and tries to pull her plats and runs after her . The video did not like by many viewers .
Kartik is often referred as misogynistic and many a times being target for the same. This time , he is not able to entertainment his followers as his video encouraged domestic violence . During this lockdown period , there would be many females who would becoming the prey of domestic abuse . The National Commission for Women (NCW) launched a WhatsApp number – 7217735372 – earlier this month to report cases of domestic violence. The Delhi High Court has directed the Centre to deliberate on measures to curb abuse and crime against women during the coronavirus lock-down.
As soon as Kartik took the notice of negative remarks , he deleted the video . But the video is still making rounds on internet via various fan pages.
Singer Sona Mohapatra wrote in her tweet against the actor. Her tweet reads: “This guy has become a youth idol by consistently, staring in misogynistic films and is happy to extend it to his disgusting lockdown video,”.While an angry netizen added: “Someone should file a case against Kartik Aaryan for promoting domestic violence.”

Kartik’s movie, Pati Patni Aur Woh. which was released recently, had a dialogue, where he joked about marital rape in the film . Netizens had schooled the makers of Kartik’s film citing the controversial dialogue and that ugly humour. However, the controversial dialogue, which made it to the trailer, was edited out in the final cut.
