As they say … pairs are made in heaven …Sweet gestures with sweeter couples but showbiz is the main part of marriages now a days. More the money ,comes with the great show off .People spend crores for relishing the big fat Indian Wedding.
But not all are alike, today ,we share a sweet story of a couple .
31-year-old Biplab Kumar, an employee of a pharmaceutical firm, married 23-year-old Aneeta, an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM), on Sunday in a unique way.
They are a resident of Odisha’s Ganjam district .They skipped their ‘feraas’ and took the oath of their togetherness as a follower India’s constitution followed by a blood donation camp at their wedding.
According to the report 18 , their guests and relatives attended the wedding took part in the blood donation camp.
The couple quoted: “Our marriage was solemnized without matching of horoscopes or chanting of hymns,”
Father of the groom is a retired government employee .He as overwhelmed and said that he wished to set an example for the society with his son’s wedding.
He added that:“I am a rationalist and I do not believe in traditional marriages where priests chant hymns” .
Approx. 36 units of blood were collected on the occasion, the father told Business Standard. The Humanist and Rationalist Organisation (HRO) and the Association of Volunteer Blood Donors (AVBD) have also praised the couple for their efforts.
Not everyone can think this way as many have a wish to have big Indian wedding and in this regard we hatsoff to the the couple!!!
