On Gandhi Jayanti, SP leader trolled for shedding ‘Crocodile tears’ at Mahatma’s statue

The entire country recently celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi on October 2. The country took to social media to express their bitter-sweet emotions on Gandhi Jayanti. But it seems like Samajwadi Party leader Firoz Khan and his aides are missing Bapu way too much.

SP leader Firoz Khan and his aides were filmed wailing at the statue at the Fawara Chowk area in the city crying out “Bapu” apparently grieving Gandhi’s death.

The entire episode reportedly took place at Fawara Chowk in Chandausi Kotwali area in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal. Khan kept talking to Bapu’s statue and dramatically asked him,, “Why did you leave us as orphans after granting us independence?” while wiping his tears.

Well, Twitter wasn’t convinced with his tears and trolled Feroz Khan for his ‘Oscar winning performance’:

Well, the Twitter reactions have left us ROFL. What do you think of the whole charade?
