Only Tricolor Will Be Seen On Civil Secretariat Building In Srinagar, As State Flag Is Removed

After the abolition of Article370 ,Jammu and Kashmir witnessed the tricolor hoisting this 72nd Independence Day done by
Governor Satya Pal Malik at Sher-e- Kashmir stadium in Srinagar.

All the panchayats in the state were ordered to hoist the tricolor on Independence day too by Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy. .He stated “For this, an advisory has been issued by the Central government to the sarpanches of all gram panchayats of the state, which states that all should ensure the hoisting of the national flag in their panchayats on the August 15,“. 

The state flag has been removed from Civil Secretariat building in Srinagar and only the Indian national flag can be seen on top of the building, and also other government offices ,according to news agency ANI.

The situation in Kashmir is still tense after its special status was terminated. There was a clash between the media of different places which stated that there were protest in different parts of Kashmir.However the restrictions are being leveraged day by day.
