According to CNN, the stairs are located at West 167th Street in South Bronx, New York. Due to a high crime rate, the area was not frequented by tourists earlier but ‘Joker’ has changed all that. Metro UK reports that many people have been thronging to the location since the movie’s release.
Some are doing it to get more ‘likes’ on the gram while others are paying a tribute to an iconic scene in costume and full clown makeup. Check it out.
Although , some residents of the area are not happy with the crowds and are even warning tourists about the high chances of robberies in the Bronx.
