We all have stayed in luxurious hotels and you might have noticed that the food bill or the alcohol price is always way higher than you were expecting.
So, Rahul Bose has presented reality on a platter before the audience now.
Rahul, who is currently shooting in Chandigarh and is staying at the JW Marriott, took to Twitter to share a video and wrote, “You have to see this to believe it. Who said fruit wasn’t harmful to your existence? Ask the wonderful folks at @JWMarriottChd #goingbananas #howtogetfitandgobroke #potassiumforkings.”
In the video, he questions the whole ideology behind the prices that consumers have to pay for food when they are staying at high-end properties.
So, Rahul ordered for two bananas while he was working out in the gym and they came at a price of Rs 442 and guess what? the bill had GST included.
Check out the video here:

After he posted the video, there were some people who took a potshot at the hypocrisy of high-end hotels and said it was simply wrong to charge this much for just two bananas.
One of the Twitter users wrote, “banana coated pill! Gees be reasonable @JWMarriott fruit platters are a part of your hospitality norms, don’t drive your customers away!”
Here are a few reactions supporting Rahul’s argument:

The question is @RatnaJungleLore did they import this banana from Australia. The price of that food platter Is and the cost of the banana. Its too much. And 2 banana— Varron Attrri (@VarronAttrri) July 22, 2019

In that case in India crores of families couldnt buy a dozen of bananas even after day night labour for 30 days…
