Since everyone is under lockdown as of now, it gave celebs an opportunity to talk to fans as no one has a busy schedule right now. Shah Rukh Khan is actively raising awareness about the ongoing coronavirus through his social media handles.
One of SRK’s best quality is, of course, his humour, along with his wit. Recently, he conducted an #AskSRK session and honestly, it’s a blessing since his answers are always so hilarious and honest.
One of his fans asked him about suggestions on how to quit smoking. He wrote, “@iamsrk any suggestions how to quit smoking, trying too hard. #AskSRK”
SRK at his wittiest best replied, “Eh…you are looking for answers in the wrong place my friend. Best of luck with your endeavour.”
SRK recently made headlines for contributing towards PM CARES fund and also gave his office for quarantine facility.
He was also one of the celebrities who joined Lady Gaga’s star-studded show ‘One World: Together at Home’ to celebrate healthcare workers fighting against the deadly pandemic.
In his segment of the show, he said, “India is facing one of its greatest challenges, in our history. With a population of over a billion citizens, the strength of COVID-19 is bound to have a negative impact on the country. Like, it is impacting the rest of the world too.
Battling this crisis is going to take its toll, and this is the time to take action. Right now, I’m working with a team of people to provide protective equipment, quarantine centres, food and essentials to patients, hospitals and homes. But to beat this worldwide pandemic, the world must come together.”
“So find out how you can contact World and private sector leaders, and ask them to continue to contribute to WHO’s Solidarity Response Fund, so they can help to continue the hardest of areas and people who desperately need it. India, planet earth, we are one world. I love you, stay strong,” he added.
On the work front, SRK was last seen in Anand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ along with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
