‘Hera Pheri‘ and ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ had Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in lead roles. There have been numerous rumors about the third installment of the franchise. There were reports that Akshay Kumar will not be a part of the third installment.
Recently at a promotional event, when a media personnel asked Shetty about Akshay not being in the third installment, Shetty clearly said that ‘Hera Pheri 3’ cannot be made without Akshay being a part of it.
“Who told you Akshay is not there? How do you know so much about it? ‘Hera Pheri 3’ will not be made if Akshay will not be in it.”
Shetty who was last seen in a Kannada film ‘Pailwaan’ and Tamil film ‘Darbar’, talking about his recent choice of films, said,
“I am in a different and in a comfortable zone. I am trying to do different kind of films. I am doing age appropriate roles which I feel it is really important. I am not competing with anybody and I am in my own world which is something that I am very happy about. I think it is important to know and understand your age and to know success and failure so, it’s going good.”
Talking about his son’s Bollywood debut, Shetty said,
“I am also excited that Ahan will start his journey probably in middle of this year. So, I am super-excited about everything. There is light in my life.”
When about his upcoming movie ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’, Shetty said,
“It is being made in five languages and it is directed by Priyadarshan. It’s a multi-starrer film and I am very excited about it because it is one of the biggest canvases you will ever see on Indian screen. It’s a period film, it’s big and different. I am sure people will like and appreciate it.”
The movie will hit the theatres worldwide on 26 March 2020.
