we have always heard that it’s difficult for working mothers to manage work and home simultaneouly. But in today’s scenario even men are smart enough to cope up with the daily situations. Also with the help of co members and other people nearby ,its too easy to manage things at work-place.
Last year’s New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, brought her 3-month-old baby and attended the United Nations general assembly. Following her footsteps of politicians around the world juggling their babies and their jobs, is NZ lawmaker, Tāmati Coffey.
Recently photos of the Speaker of New Zealand’s Parliament, Trevor Mallard, going viral for cradling Tāmati Coffey’s baby.
Trevor posted pictures of him feeding and cradling the baby with a sweet caption-
Normally, the Speaker’s chair is only used by Presiding Officers but today a VIP took the chair with me. Congratulations @tamaticoffey and Tim on the newest member of your family.
It was a sweet gesture by the colleagues of his as Tāmati attended the Parliament for the first time since his paternity leave. While the parliamentary debate went on,Trevor, a father of three took the responsibility of babysitting.
Tamati while talking to Newshub, said he felt ‘really supported by (his) colleagues from across the House’.
