Live wire Ranveer Singh is hands down one of the immensely talented actors we have in Bollywood. He has been entertaining the audience with his terrific performance on-screen and quirky antics off-screen. The actor treated his fans with yet another still from his upcoming film ’83.

Bollywood’s method-actor Ranveer has been spending a lot of time on the fields, trying to slip into the shoes of ace cricketer Kapil Dev for ’83. Singh who has been learning the basics of cricket from the maestro himself was earlier snapped on the ground engrossed in a conversation with Dev. On his birthday, Ranveer had shared the first look as Kapil Dev.

Looks like Singh is all set to play ‘The Haryana Hurricane’. He recently shared a picture of him acing Dev’s iconic ‘Natraj Shot’. The actor recreated the iconic shot, looking into the distance after hitting the ball out of the stadium. The actor’s uncanny resemblance to the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev will leave you in awe of him and the film’s makers.

The veteran cricketer, Dev was delighted to see Singh nailing the pose. He retweeted his picture and wrote: “Hats off Ranveer”.

But anything and everything that trends on the internet does get funny meme reactions too. So as #RanveerAsKapil started trending on Twitter, some users were quick to make funny memes and jokes on the Natraj Shot pose too.

Interestingly, in ’83 Ranveer will once again romance his beautiful wife Deepika Padukone. Other team members of the ’83 squad will be played by Saquib Saleem, Adinath Kothari, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Jatin Sarna among others.

The film is scheduled to hit the silver screens on April 10, 2020. Just think about the energy in the cinema halls when people will witness Ranveer Singh’s rendition of the iconic shot.
