This How the Iconic Star cast of ‘Mahabharat’ Looks After 32 Years, Must Check ‘Dhritrashtra’

Back in the year 1988, when Mahabharat first went on air , on channel Doordarshan, it was not expected from the show that it will a super-hit. But it became the part of people’s life and become their weekend routine . The epic show was produced and directed by late film-maker BR Chopra and his son, late Ravi Chopra.

Gajendra Chauhan has been leading a great career . He played the role of Yudhisthir in the show . In a career spanning 34 years, he did 600 shows . Also , he is the Ex-chairman of FTII and was last seen in the 2017 series Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman.

3. Praveen Kumar as Bhim


Praveen Kumar, who played Bhim, is an athlete who competed in two Olympics and the Asian Games, even winning four medals in the latter. He appeared in various movies, and later, joined politics. However, due to health issues , he quit both, politics and acting.

Surendra Pal is a great actor and has been doing shows since Mahabharat in 1988 to Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev in 2011, . He has been the part of many shows as well as movies like  Jodha Akbar, Airlift, etc. He was last seen in the show called  Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi.
