Army ghost Harbhajan Singh who died during India and China war . He still does his duty at Nathula Pass in East Sikkim, India. The story goes like this……
Harbhajan Singh was born in village of Panjab in 1941. He enrolled himself in Indian army in 1956. in 1965 he was granted a commission with 14 Rajput Regiment to serve . he was died near Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim while he was on duty . he was drowned in glacier when he was leading a column of mules carrying supplies to lonesome outpost during India and china war .his body search every where but his body was found after 3 days . he was cremated with full of military honor .
Fable about its that it was his own ghost who helped help served team to reached his own dead body, and later he appeared in his friend dream and said to erect his shrine. then his colleagues create a shrine in Harbhajan Singh memory .A shrine was built at his Samadhi in the hills.
soldiers believe that his body protect country till today, in Nathu la post a bed kept from him , his shoes polished and uniform is kept ready every night . he sheets are reportedly crumpled every morning and boots muddy by evening. Soldiers even believe that his ghost warns them of any impending attack at least three days in advance. even the Chinese, during flag meets a set a chair to honor HARBHAJAN SINGH .
