Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar may have impressed several with his ‘fiery’ launch of his upcoming web show in association with Amazon Prime Video. But, he has certainly got his wife Twinkle Khanna fuming, who took to Twitter to vent her anger.
The stunt shows Akshay setting himself on fire and walking down the ramp, wearing a black suit. Twinkle, who is an author and a former actress, apparently got to know about her husband’s daredevil act only after the hullabaloo on social media.
According to reports, retweeting his daredevil video, Twinkle wrote: ‘Crap! This is how I find out that you decided to set yourself on fire ! Come home and I am going to kill you-in case you do survive this! #GodHelpMe’. Known for her wittiness, Twinkle managed to churn out a hilarious threat-tweet to husband Akshay, which amassed comical reactions from Twitterati.
The actor himself posted a rather interesting reply to wife Twinkle’s tweet and wrote: ‘Now that’s something I’d actually be afraid of’.
Akshay speaking at the event said, “Action is within me, I call myself a stuntman first and then an actor. If I were to make a small confession here, it was my son Aarav who suggested that I make my digital debut as that’s what the youth is hooked onto.”
Akshay will be seen next in ‘Kesari’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ which is scheduled to release on March 21 and Eid, respectively.
