The complainant, Shanmukh Deshmukh, a Nagpur-based legal advisor, in his grievance has affirmed that on May 31 he had requested margarine paneer masala from Hotel Preet Punjabi Swad through Zomato.
In any case, just while eating Deshmukh understood that he was served chicken rather than paneer. He guaranteed that since the sauce of both the dishes seems to be indistinguishable, he didn’t understand that it was a non-vegan dish.
In the wake of understanding that it was chicken, he educated the reestablished which guaranteed Deshmukh that it will supplant his request.
As guaranteed, Hotel Preet Punjabi Swad conveyed another package to Deshmukh which, to his stun indeed ended up being butter chicken.
Deshmukh recorded a grievance against Zomato and the inn guaranteeing that his religious slants were harmed by their activities and requested a remuneration of Rs 5 lakh and Rs 1 lakh for provocation.
In the court, Zomato contended that it was not to blame and it was the slip-up of the inn which provided the off-base dish.
